It's my love of the ocean that inspires the artwork.

Coming from the small village
of Waimarama in New Zealand, where we rode our pony's along the beach to school,  I always picked up rocks and shells along this little piece of paradise and this inspired my joy in creativity.  I started out designing jewellery at a young age and eventually moved on to clothing.  Now, my biggest reward is finishing the functional and memorable surfboard mosaic pieces and this continues to inspire my passion for art.  My favorite medium is paua - I'm a little obsessed with the colourway of it.  I'm also enjoying learning to work with glass.

I have a little gypsy in me and love to travel but have long decided my roots are in New Zealand.  Surfing, creating, cooking, eating and spending time with loved ones and friends is what makes everyday special for me.
